Meet Chef Klaus

We opened our doors at Chef Klaus Bier Stube for the first time in 1971, making this year our 50th year serving down-home German cuisine with the unique Chef Klaus touch in Frankfort, Illinois. At Chef Klaus' we pride ourselves in using the finest quality meats, poultry, fish, and produce. Chef Klaus was born in Frankfurt, Germany, and migrated to America in 1953, where he served in the US Army for four years. After serving his new home country, Chef Klaus began his journey in the kitchen, where he fell in love with preparing all of his mother's delightful German recipes here in America.
